The artificial gloxinia plant is a study in contradiction. While the dark purple blossoms emit a sophisticated, luxurious feel, the lighter green and purple leaves stress a calm, resting feeling. While it can be draped across a stairway's railing to dress it up, it can also be a nice addition to a bedroom. Lay it across the top of a dresser, or inside a planter on a side table.
